Delsin stands at an average 29 inches tall, with his thick pelt adding an extra few inches to his stature. With broad shoulders, large paws, and a compact, muscular build the brute may appear imposing at first, but his fighting skills are no better than the average wolf; most of the muscle was built up from mountain climbing and long distance travel rather than battle. His fur is a mixture of dull cream and lighter cream underfur with black and dark grey markings spanning across his back, tail, shoulders, ears, and face, creating the appearance of a mask. The texture of Delsin's coat is quite coarse, and often times bits of debris can be seen sticking to it, more an attest of his fur's capability to pick up things rather than poor hygiene. His eyes shine as a pale golden-yellow, sometimes appearing brown in low light.

On the surface Delsin appears to the insufferable type; he's rude, irritating, and shamelessly flirts with just about any lass that crosses his path. He carries an air of indifference to him, unsympathetic toward the struggles of anyone outside his family; even the females he courts are left to fend for themselves once his group moves on. However, Delsin is not so two-dimensional; there is more to him than meets the eye, but no one besides his family have ever been around long enough to get a glimpse of his true nature.
Though most might see him simply as a sleazy pervert interested only in pursuing females Delsin also uses flirtation to genuinely compliment others. In his mind they are one and the same, so when others spurn his admiration it causes him a bit of confusion. To some extent he's aware how others perceive his form of praise and sometimes he'll intentionally flirt simply to tease or cause trouble. The rest of time he's quite friendly and tolerant, eagar to share his company with others even if not directly interacting. The male leans toward the quiet side of the spectrum, being soft-spoken yet incredibly blunt. Delsin sees no use in spewing lies unless it immediately benefits him, thus he tries to hold himself to the truth as much as he can.
He uses logic to make his decisions and has a firm policy of believing only what he can see and prove. Any attempts to convert him to any sort of religion ends in tremendous failures, as he's more likely to find ways to prove the belief wrong rather than accept it. However Delsin won't go out of his way to crush any one individual's faith, he respects that not everyone thinks the same way and is happy to tolerate religion so long as it isn't forced upon him. Delsin is, overall, a difficult wolf to piss off, but sheer ignorance is the quickest way to do so. All other times he manages to save face, only appearing slightly annoyed in the worst of cases.
All in all, despite an underlying amiable nature the male has serious problems staying commited to a single partner or potential mate. It's merely a case of him falling in love too easily and too often; though he doesn't enter any relationship with the intention of breaking anyone's heart such always ends up being the case. Potential commitment issues may also play a role is his past relationships, but if that is so he remains blissfully ignorant to it.
